Projects

Kubernetes
Kubernetes
Configurator

Set up K3S to deploy docker containers automatically across several machines.

Proxmox Cluster
Proxmox Cluster

Linked Dell Micro PCs to form a High Availability cluster for production services using GlusterFS and Ceph storage backend.

Home Assistant
Home Assistant

Constructed a Home Assistant instance as an offline alternative to Amazon Alexa. My instance processes voice data locally, only reaching online if otherwise unable. The local system will listen for cancel phrases to stop data from being sent to the internet when not wanted. Without this system I would have to manually add each phrase for controling devices. All other data never touches the Internet. One feature is the control of my lights based on presence and time of day.

FreePBX/Asterisk
FreePBX/Asterisk

Set up FreePBX/Asterisk to experiment with phone menu systems and VoIP/SIP.

MEM/MECM (SCCM)
MEM/MECM (SCCM)

Deployed SCCM to install Windows 11 over PXE and added several application installers to Software Center using both MSI and EXE installers.

GNS Router Simulations
GNS Router Simulations

Implemented load balancing and fail over using GNS3. Successfully set up GLBP on Cisco routers, VRRP on Mikrotik, and CARP on PFsense.

E-Ink Clock

Developed a NTP based clock using an Arduino and an E-Ink screen to minimize light pollution. It also displays the power status of my servers.
